After a successful first stop in Manila that drew the maximum 255 players and paid out $179,775 to winner Brett Parise, the Asia Pacific Poker tour is heading to Seoul, Korea, for it's second stop.
The event will be hosted at the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel & Casino and again capped at 250 plus alternates. The buy-in is $2,500 and as of time of publish there are 172 registered players.
There has been no word as to what, if any, big name poker pros have committed to playing in this event. Although, its safe to say that as Daniel Negreanu, who played in the Manila event, is still alive at the EPT London, he would be hard pressed to make it to South Korea by tomorrow.
The tour wraps up in December with the Grand Final at the Star City Casino in Sydney, Australia.
At least three more events are expected for 2007 and the venues will be announced later in the year. Live updates will be available at PokerNews.com.
If you want a chance to win an entry into a WPT or EPT event with a $10,000 or less buy-in, then head over to Bodog and qualify for a "Player's Choice" package.
